but Lane was the QB of the team that won a Sugar Bowl, beating Steve Spurrier, and was ranked #6 in the nation.. Lane spent three inconsequential seasons in the NFL.

Add Gus Otto to #34. Otto was team captain, all Big 8 and honorable mention All American his Senior year. He played 8 seasons as LB for the Raiders and was second team All AFL three years and second team all NFL one year.
