I might have put this info in an earlier thread, if so my bad.
I attended a practice session with the team in mid to late October with a couple friends. There was a 10 minute scrimmage with their male practice squad. These guys are good (Robin said its their best practice team ever). In the scrimmage Ashton scored 13 points on 3 3 pointers and 2 lane jump shots. She didn’t miss a shot. After the practice we ran into a couple of the practice players in the hallway. We asked about Ashton and they both said shes one of our top seven players already.
I know what you mean about Izzy, the tougher competition set her back. I don’t see that happening as much with Ashton. Shes capable of playing several positions, and I think shes capable of scoring inside and out. It is an adjustment period for new players though.
