A lot of what Sterk said was true. The hometown paper posted a story prior to the game that talked of Mizzou's past run-ins for being aggressive. They quoted Staley stating how if MU was going to play rough they needed to as well. The article also stated fans need to come and help keep the Tigers in line, especially Sophie. Staley only said "Sophie will be Sophie." While she did not promote hostility towards MU, her silence towards spoke volumes.
