the short interest is probably because of their $8.5B market cap with low free cash flow and too much long term debt. What's going to happen as rates rise? I like the dividend, but in this macro environment the price is still a little bit high, in my opinion, and the initial investment value is going to suffer.
I like WMB for their dividend and the price has recently had a major correction. I think a well-timed entry after it finds a bottom here will be a nice place to park some cash for the next 3-5 years.
