I was a student at MU and took care of the athletic facilities during the Max, Aaron, Kyle , Nick era . BD was an awesome genuine man. Always has been. And he was freaking awesome at his job. I was there when he was a VA , and kept in touch with him through the years. I agree, he always responded. My last text to him was wishing him a Merry Christmas last month.
