Missouri St is still in good shape for an at large, but it will be a struggle the rest of the year. Their dominance was built on their frontline and defense; not only have they lost their best player [ Franklin] and their most efficient down low scorer [Hipp] off the frontline, but Duke transfer 6'3 Jennifer Ezeh who was supposed to provide quality depth has yet to play coming off two years lost to ACL injuries while at Duke . They've also had injuries to starting pg Bhinhar[ she's back now] , and their top freshman recruit[ top 100 guard Taylor Woodhouse] was also rs because she was still rehabbing an ACL from her sr year in HS. Their depth is very thin as a result. This is a team that doesn't have good outside shooting , so losing their edvantage on the blocks will really make it difficult some nites for them to score. Sad , as they were looking like another deep run in the NCAA tourney caliber team. They'll be fine moving forward as they have an excellent recruiting class coming in, and of course, payers like Franklin/Wilson/ Bhinhar have the decision to make about another yr per covid.
