despite, or rather because of, the amazing performance last night in the narrow loss. We are back up to a 7 seed, after dropping following the Arkansas loss last Sunday.
SEC seed lines, with today’s NET ranking noted:
1 SC (1)
2 Tennessee (7)
3 LSU (17)
4 Georgia (21)
7 Missouri (44)
7 Ole Miss (33)
9 Kentucky (43)
10 Arkansas (30)
11 TAMU (41)
11 Miss St (62)
Kentucky and Arkansas are in the last 4 byes group, and TAMU and Miss St are literally the last 2 teams to make the field.
And LSU is up to #9 in the nation on Charlie Cremes ‘S’ curve, the highest 3 seed, now in spitting distance of the 2 seed line.
For local interest, Mo St has dropped to the 9 seed line after a loss last night to a 5 loss Northern Iowa team 74-65. I don’t follow them closely but I understand they have been really hurt by injuries.
