Had been in Hansen’s hands in the last 5 seconds, she has that gunslinger look when she gets the ball and she is capable of going end to end and getting a shot one way or another and finishing. I wonder how Pingeton gamed that out in the huddle prior to the last 13 seconds. My impression was we were only thinking about LSU taking the last shot with a second or two on the clock so we were concentrating on defending them (that didn’t go well!), and when they took their shot too early (I thought), we didn’t have a plan for who whose hands to get the ball in, it was just a mad scramble to get the ball up court. Oh well.

She almost won it in regulation with a tough shot very similar to her game winner against SC, so close before rolling out. That would have been amazing.

This game had an SC feel to it for me from mid 3rd quarter on, I was absolutely convinced we would win the game somehow right up until the last shot failed.

It was really cool when Hansen and Frank were unconscious and splashing the 3s from all over and the announcers were getting more and more amazed.
