among the litany of major NCAA programs in the nation, the singular example of doing so had it absolutely blow up in their face and ruin their program....and that same program was the singular one to elect to try it again. Even if it did ultimately work out, that would have to rank among the dumbest hiring decisions across all industries in the history of time.
Not to say that he does, but if he wanted a job like MU's job then he needs to show the career ambition and confidence in himself to take on a smaller D1 program first as a proving grounds. As it currently stands he is unqualified and not on the correct career path to be considered for MU's head coaching role.
