I've been reading this board since the late 90's, I would consider him the least polarizing coach we have had in that time. Both Quin and Haith were off the charts polarizing. A large portion of posters thought it was past time for Norm to retire and that his recruiting was terrible. If you count the Kim fans who thought he could actually do the job as MU fans, him too. And Mike Anderson had the racist subset that hated him as MU's first African American coach and a decent group that felt he was a mid-major coach and poor tactician.
For the most part Cuonzo is almost universally viewed as a very good man who runs a clean program and is a slightly below avg to mediocre basketball coach. There are like 5 posters total who don't think that, either more negatively or more positively. They just post a lot.
