worst program in P5 basketball. Not only does that make firing him harder because of the buyout increases, it also reflects very poorly on the school and it's ability to show patience. If you're a coach with options, why would you choose Mizzou in a situation like that? I know I sure as hell would look for a better situation with a realistic fanbase/AD or I would request a ton of money and even larger buyout that Cuonzo had. The new AD changes nothing IMO. The only way Cuonzo is out is a disastrous type season where he wins like 12 games. We aren't a program like Texas or a blue blood who can fire our decent coach and expect to make a substantial upgrade. Good coach's don't jump for that type of situation and if you believe you do, you're delusional. You fire Cuonzo this year and you're hiring another re-tread or risky hire.
