and Hansborough was coming for his official visit. Mizzou Arena was under construction. He and a buddy were assigned to get a big bed sheet and paint Hansborough #50 in black and gold and get it to the construction crew to hang in the rafters of the half built arena. The coaches gave him a tour and ended on the concrete arena floor with the sheet hanging above. Could have been “the house that Hansborough built”. From memory I think he really wanted to come here and play for Snyder. But I guess Quin was
in the process of losing control at that point.
