A 4* recruit has all conference potential with a borderline NBA trajectory per the scouting services grading system, I pulled this chary below from Verbal Commits. The NBA doesn’t really draft on stats in college, especially for low post players..if you have them great, but Luke Garza wont be a lottery pick just because he averaged 26ppg in college. Even though i think Garza will be a 10 yr NBA pro, hes not high on draft boards. Isaiah Jackson of KY at 8ppg and 6reb but is listed as a lottery pick. Listing stats is just not a good indicator of a players impact, ability. projection or development. I think Tilmon will spend time in the G-League/overseas for a season or two but will get a close look by the NBA, summer league if they have it and maybe an invite to a camp. Hes not there yet, but if he expands his game and as a hunger to get better, he has a shot to make a roster .
