Splitting midweek games does not qualify as making SEMO a better program. His job at SEMO was respectable but his clubs there were far from SEC caliber. How many top 10 round draft picks did he have in his tenure? I’d be willing to bet Mizzou had more over the same time frame. And I’m not arguing that a change wasn’t needed. But it was clear then and even clearer now that at best we hired someone who could make the program marginally better. And expecting Bieser to get us back to where we were from 03-09 was completely unrealistic.
