but that happens to all top 10-15 teams. Most just reload every year. Shaefer seemed to be doing fine on recruiting until he bolted to Texas this year. There could be some hangover on the team after he left so surprisingly and abruptly. They clearly weren’t coming to play every night over their last 10 games or so. Don’t know why they held one of their best players out against us until the last few minutes but that’s never a good sign on a team when the coach has to send a message to a star player, at the expense of the teams success.
