He will definitely push Bazelak, maybe even steal some reps from him early on. He will have to show something really special to challenge for the starting spot though, but having a guy ahead of him in Bazelak and a highly rated guy coming in next year in Horn will bring out the competitive side of Macon. As Drink says, one of the core values is "Always Compete."
