A more accurate formula would remove the loss to the Tigers in evaluating the strength of the Tigers. The team you beat should not be devalued by your loss for purposes of your own ranking, it makes no sense. That is what I mean by flawed math. There needs to be some common sense involved in these things but math guys can’t do that
