a chance to erase the bad taste from the 19-20 season. North Alabama up first tonight at home at 6pm, followed by a potentially dangerous game on the road Sunday at SLU.

I expect easy wins in the 8 game non conference slate against North Alabama, Morehead St, New Orleans, and Oral Roberts, all at home.

The tougher games that could trip is up are road contests at SLU and Texas Tech, and home games against TCU and Missouri State. Split those 4 games and we head into SEC play 6-2, but I’m hoping to win at least 3/4 and be 7-1 heading into our SEC opener at home against Alabama on New Years Eve.

On paper the big test will be Missouri State, who is ranked near the bottom of the top 25 and has plenty of talent, just glad that game is at home instead of Springfield. Texas Tech was picked 6th in the Big 12 preseason poll and TCU 9th. SLU was picked to finish 3rd in the Atlantic 10.

Really excited to see the new players who are going to be a key to our success but havnt ever seen play before, like Dufficy, Dickson, and Williams.
