I feel , and it seems well placed , that this team has way more potential than last years.
Last years team was really very weak, so it’s easy to expect more wins, and a better fan experience this season.
Yet.... predictions which place the team in the lower middle, or worse, of the SEC don’t seem unreasonable to me. No fan , and WBB experts , can get much of a handle on where this team might finish.
The talent this year is better, especially Dufficy. The talent is not so much better though that a big jump in wins is a given.
If this team is substantially better it won’t be shocking, and if they finish 11 or 12 in the SEC that won’t be a total surprise either.
I personally expect the team to be noticeably better regardless of record.
