Agree it’s better to end up with a 7-8 person rotation taking up 95% of the minutes, just think we have 2 solid groups which shows our depth. Kelly is an unknown, she will contribute, or not. We don’t need her to be great this year.
Yes we aren’t deep at 4 and 5 unless Kelly turns out to be really good right away. But I don’t mind playing small at times, Dufficy and AB can hold their own on the boards.
I’m fine with a starting team of Williams, Dufficy, Dickson, Blackwell and Frank, and rotating in Hansen, Dembele, and Green/SR Smith. Green is kinda getting overlooked with the now 4 good transfers plus the freshmen. I really liked what I saw of her last year, and now she has 2 more years to play, if she chooses.
As for the season, I’m trying to be positive and focus on the players and season and what will happen on the court if they can play. But I think common sense says there will be significant disruptions in the CBB season for both women and men, it’s inevitable.
