I think he is a fine recruiter. 2 things IMO...

1: He lost his best player in both of his first two seasons to injury. Either one of those plays a full year you get more wins and more buzz for the program to build on.
2: He went virtually all-in on Fletcher, Christopher and Love in the 2020 class. He might land one, two, or even all three if he gets a big year (see problem #1).
Given the 2021 strategy I think Cuonzo has figured out he isn't landing 5 star guys. He needs to get the 3 star guys that he can develop into college stars. The question is whether or not he will have time to develop guys like Brookshire into high level college players.
