Of those over 100 have come from just four nursing homes on the Kansas side.
Or entire response to this has been a clusterfúck since day one. I don't really fault anyone for March and early April because there was no real data to look at then so everything was just best guesses. But we now have tons of data and instead of adjusting our response to the current data we are still using the outdated methods.
The old and those with certain known comorbities are very much at danger still. They should be under lockdown except for the most essential of services. No one should be going in and out of nursing homes unless absolutely necessary and those should be tested daily and exercise sterile procedures while there.
The young and healthy should be out and about being exposed and moving us towards herd immunity. Short of a medical breakthrough that is the only way to beat this virus. Trying to hide from it or behind masks just means we are indefinitely extending this outbreak.
