Positive cases in Boone County have been increasing significantly. We went a long time with fewer than 10 new cases a week.
Then in the last 5 weeks the weekly totals have been: 30, 36, 30, 50, and 77. This week we are on schedule to exceed the 77 total from last week. Not a good trend line.
I’m assuming unless there is a dramatic downturn in the virus (which is doubtful), masks will be required at all Mizzou indoor sporting events where spectators are allowed.
