He was only off by one word. Just substitute “absolutely” for “not necessarily” and the quote is correct.

Seriously, I hope Sterk publicly corrects him. When people in positions of authority, in any arena, including sports, spout misinformation on this topic, whether out of ignorance, stupidity, or actual malice, people can die. People in authority can’t let blatantly false statements about COVID stand without a correction.
