difference. The dems gave in to becoming as wide array of divergent special interests. Many of those groups agree on what they don't like. But to be a successful political party you need to come together around what you are for. I don't see how the dems accomplish this any time soon without alienating a large number of the narrowly focused interest groups they rely on.
