University of Missouri freshman guard Troy Hudson, who was suspended from Saturday's game against Arkansas after skipping a practice last week, has quit the basketball team and plans to transfer at the end of the semester.
Hudson played 17 minutes in MU's opener against Chicago State and 3 minutes in the next game against Purdue, but he evidently was disgruntled about playing time from the first exhibition game on. Missouri coach Norm Stewart alluded to that on Tuesday night, noting that several teammates had tried to console him then.
