That isn't necessarily a definitive indication of lack of progress. Years 2 and 3 often have upper classmen from the prior regime leading the team that weren't necessarily recruited for the system and still have considerable depth issues. We saw the same thing happen with Mike Anderson when he took over Quin's mess of a program.

The big key will be this offseason. Will we have player defections at crucial roster spots, and will we be able to install a functioning offense that aligns with the skill sets of the roster? To be determined.
