California did well while he was there. Had he followed Quin or Norm, he might had done better here but he's following Kim Anderson's lackluster tenure and having to rebuild from ground up. Unfortunately, the visibility boost we got from the Porter's is a couple of years old now and we only have Tilmon to show for it and that's been a mixed blessing. Mizzou's past as a pretty decent program is getting historical enough at this point that it's not really much of a selling factor.
