arguably the most talented team in MU football history. Incredible team speed and athleticism. Averaged over 36 ppg. (regular season) which, in those "pre-spread, pre-RPO and "closely called offensive holding" days was phenomenal. Interestingly, the below linked website, which crunches offensive and defensive stats, had Missouri ranked #1 at the end of the 1969 season (MU's AP rank was #6)
