the fact that we're the flagship university of a top 20 state in terms of population, and the only school in that state belonging to a power conference, it's safe to say that Mizzou is the the biggest underachiever in sports by far, and that includes professional leagues.
The problem has been self-inflicted: hiring incompetent people at the top, in particular our Athletic Directors, and that includes the current one.
