during the Kemper era with Norm Mizzou fans expected to win there because we in fact did win the tournaments there so damn often under him, it was a fun experience and kind of a yearly Mizzou alumni party in KC.
The current fanbase will need to work to get that rhythm back, but nothing unites us like hatred of ku.
Usually any ku prognostication of heavy majority in ku (I'm looking at you, 70/30 Lew Perkins) results in egg on ku's face. *If* the Mizzou fanbase is motivated and doesn't implode on itself. But we all have seen what Braggin' Rights in STL can look like when Mizzou hoops is down and our fanbase goes into its blah mode. Our fans will never be as blah about the Border War, but ku fans will be so quick to lap up tickets that even the slightest dip in interest on Mizzou fans' side will be immediately noticeable at Sprint.
