After selling my previous house, I was able to put more money down on my current house to reduce the LTV. I then submitted a request via their website to discontinue the escrow (on July 12). I got an email from them saying it would take up to 15 days to complete "research". They give me a ticket number for a reference.
I call them today, give them the ticket number, and they tell me it will be 15 days to complete "research" and "sorry for the delay" I tell them it has already been like 30 biz days, and their response was the ticket was not open, but it is now.
So I guess you have to call to actually open the ticket.
Escrows are the biggest scams that steal interest from you ever.
