if we will be a top 25 team. Based on the returning players, who we know, Mizzou certainly won’t be anything close to a top 25 team. We know what those returning players can, and can’t do.
So it all depends on the performance and impact of the freshmen, which is a total unknown. Sure, there is a good chance Blackwell and Frank will be starters and impact players from day 1, but it is not a certainty by any means. Until we actually see it. Will they handle the D1 game well right away, or will it take them some time to adjust. Will they stay healthy? And happy? Hopefully yes. Someone said Frank is dominating practices. Well I would certainly hope so, when you consider the lack of top talent returning.
Garner could help considerably, in the area of the greatest need. Or not. Another unknown.
I think it’s going to take 2 months of the season, at least, to tell if Mizzou WBB is going to be a top 25 team or not. And not even by then if RP gives them a cupcake non conference schedule to pad their early win totals before the SEC season start.
