Is we will have fewer opportunities for signature wins against top 25-30 RPI teams. Just 1 shot each against Miss St, SC, Kentucky, TAMU, and Tennessee, all very likely to be in that group. Better make them count.
Yet another reason why I hope Coach RP steps more out of character and schedules a real big girls non conference schedule for Mizzou, with multiple opportunities for top 25 and top 50 wins.
I’m not holding my breath on that one though.
It potentially hurts a little too that we are cut out of the SEC/Big 12 shootout this year, along with SC and Vandy. We could have picked up a quality opponent there too.
