I've always thought the best thing for Jontay was to play 4 years at the college level to perfect his raw skill. His work with back to the basket needs to be fully developed more that what it is. He needs to work on his leaping ability. Its not in the place where it needs to be. Yeah he can dunk, but at 6:ll it should be much better. He also needs to work on his quickness. He needs to get stronger. But you know...as a player go for the gold and enter the draft if you can and develop your skills there while getting paid, right? But the basketball gods didnt have that for Jontay....so the next best thing in my opinion would to tell Mizzou he wants in...sit out this year, come back next year and develop into that lottery pick and enter the draft as a as lottery pick, skilled big man.
Its a win win for both Mizzou and Jontay as well as his dad. His dad gets to stay at Mizzou and make money....Mizzou will certainly benefit from his play with butts in the seats, and Jontay gets to develop as a player and become that lottery pick.
