dividends, their history, and likelihood of continuing. Also look at, among other things, the RSI (relative strength index) because it seems to be one of the better predictors of short term stock movement.
I daily update a list of many dozens of stocks. I can suggest now the Brookfield stocks (I like energy), such as BAM and BIP, MAIN, a reit, and EPD. I consider these long term holdings, not to trade.
