Coach Anderson has brought in here through her prior connections, in terms of pitchers. Of course Wert was a huge gift coming along with LA.
Dandola has great potential based on her freshman year. Need to figure out what happened at Syracuse. She also pitched a perfect game in the NCAA regional at SC her freshman year when Hofstra nearly pulled off the big upset behind Dandola and Cornell.
Megan Schumacher is the freshman coming in I’m really excited about. She also really, really wants to play for LA. She originally verbally committed to Hofstra, then opened up her recruiting again when LA took the Mizzou job. I understand she got attention from several schools in the SEC, ACC, and B1G, including Georgia and Minnesota. She could be the ace we are looking for to get back to the level we were at during the glory years of EE.
