First up, his name wasn't included in the NBA's official early entrant list released earlier this week. There was a mixup with some of the paperwork that Mizzou is trying to resolve with the NBA. As of today, it's still very much his intention to test the NBA waters and get feedback from the league.
A few quick notes ...
* Tilmon wanted to do this after his freshman year but said he was too nervous to move forward with the process.
* He feels some pressure to ease some financial challenges back home in East St. Louis. He has a 3-year-old son and he wants to make sure he has a good future.
* If NBA teams advise Tilmon that he won't be drafted, he'll return to school. He won't leave Mizzou just to play overseas or play in the G League. He likes what MU returns and is excited about being a leader in the program - but he feels he owes it to himself to test the waters.
