The incredible irony is that the 10 game suspension is perhaps the best thing that has ever happened to her because, as you recall shortly after that, she was injured and sat out the reminder of the year. Had she played in those 10 games and had the injury still occurred, she would not be eligible to play at LSU this year because she would have exceeded the maximum # of games allowed to have a injury redshirt.

So now here she is in her 5th year, playing like an All American and getting drafted in the pro softball league last week in the 1st round. Had the injury and the subsequent redshirt not happened, she would not be eligible to play this year.

And yes, I know Amanda and her uncle and father and brother and like them all but let's be serious here, she's had no punishment, the 10 game suspension (ironically) turned into a major positive for her.
