but completely understand why Tilmon would take this opportunity to get feedback on his game. He would be a project, but NBA teams often draft on potential over production.
It's not out of the realm that he would get drafted late in the first round and then mostly play in the G-League. That level of competition could arguably develop his game better than in college. His style of play could be more suited for the NBA where they often swallow the whistle.
Still, it's my guess he's coming back. I doubt he'll get a first round grade. If I was advising him, then I'd tell him to take advantage of the opportunity. If you don't get a first round grade, then come back to Mizzou.
