Take away the 5 O-linemen and the QB, which group of 5 skill players do you think gives Mizzou it's most dynamic unit?
I think a group of Rountree, Albert O., Parker, Knox and Gicinto poses the biggest threat. Having the 2 tight ends in alignment creates advantages and another gap in the running game, especially if Albert O. improves as a blocker (we know how much of a threat he is in the passing game). Having Parker in brings greater physicality in the running game and adds another pass protector for 6 or 7 man protections, allowing KB more time to throw downfield, especially on play-action.
Knox is sounding like he is becoming our #1 receiver because he's not a one trick pony. He's enough of a threat to go deep, and is physical enough (204 lbs) to limit press coverage, therefore opening stuff up underneath. I think he's going to be difficult to cover for a lot of teams. Gicinto really impressed me with his route running last year and compared to JJ has more consistent hands, which is why he nudged his way into my group.
