Advantage possible. The NBA would afford him no advantage. He'd do worse than the mayor. You actually have to coach in the NBA unless LeBron picks your team and convinces one other HOF and a couple all stars to follow. Pop, Kerr, Stevens etc are good coaches that would smoke self.
in the NCAA he has been given:
A university that will both protect and enable the team and players to do anything they want.
A governing body that looks the other way whenever anything does come out.
A league that panders to them.
A morally defunct fanbase that adores them despite the constant underperforming and despite the obvious cheating.
All that and he "won" one NC which was gifted to him by Memphis not hitting a free throw and his player that didn't graduate HS hitting a prayer.
He would get worked in the NBA and he knows it.
