With the 2018-19 season concluded MU is ranked 73rd on kempom's metrics that measure all D1 programs.
ESPN released metrics measuring programs by decade in 2009 which had MU ranked as following for each decade:

1950s -- 28
1960s -- Unranked (below top 40)
1970s -- 36
1980s -- 14
1990s -- 30
2000s -- 37
kenpom began publishing his rankings beginning in 2002. The avg final rank for each coach in that timeframe is:

Quin -- 72 (5 seasons, 1st two years not measured)
Mike -- 37.4 (5 seasons)
Frank -- 33.6 (3 seasons)
Kim -- 169 (3 seasons)
Cuonzo -- 56.5 (2 seasons)
So by those combined metrics, the apex was the decade of the 1980s where MU was a top 15 program. In the decades of the 1950s, 1970s, 1990s, 2000s, and the Frank Haith and Mike Anderson eras MU was a top 30-40 program.
