ramping up from a much lower baseline, the last thing you want to do is over-train by putting in any run over 20 or more than one.
ramp up over 12 weeks or whatever with the long runs going up a mile or so every week to 20 then the weekend before you drink whiskey and get blow jobs then do some mid-short runs on Tue/thur then go race on Sunday.
