The thing to remember is they hate each other too. They will say what they can about one another, obviously there is only a couple schools that could be characterized as not a good fit, not southern, or not worthy of entry. My wife is from GA and makes no bones about not being thrilled with us in their conference. The approach to have is just not to care about any of them or have an over the top loyalty to any members success for the sake of the conference prestige. By and large it's not reciprocated. The only thing they respect is if you win, and specifically win titles. Nothing will garner respect except sustained success on the field. We've already done better than any of them thought we would, and better than a few original members. We didn't get any respect from our former conference mate's either.
