In five minutes looking through CFBWarehouse I found these examples of P5 doing home and homes with non-P5 schools within the last five or so years

Oklahoma State did a home & home with Central Mich.
Miami did a home/home with Toledo
Nebraska with Fresno State
Arkansas with Colorado State
Kentucky with Southern Mississippi
Mississippi State with Louisiana Tech, UMASS, South Alabama
Vandy with Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, UMASS
