With T. Williams suspension, and the high level play from Byers & Elliott, combined with T. Beckner's athleticism, I wondered about:
DE: A. Byers
DT: J. Elliott
DT: W. Palmore
DE: T. Beckner
Rotate in:
DT: Brandon, Whiteside & Utsey.
DE: N. Anderson, C. Turner & T. Jeffcoat
This DL would be nearly impossible to run against. Free up Hall & Lee to cover the short flats, Garrett over the middle. Give Bolton & Perkins time at LB. Keep both safeties back so they can't get looked off one way or the other, and have Holmes & Acy press cover. Use your big safeties-Bledsoe, Gillespie, Oliver. Petry & Sparks and Hilton can be nickels.
It's so nice to have quality depth.....something badly missing for most of our time in the Big 8/12.
