yesterday on a recruiting visit-and the Army coaches want him pretty bad...he's trying to decide between Army and Sacramento St. (and possibly New Mexico St. so it's not like he's a phenom)
He's 'conflicted' because he doesn't want to commit for 7 years. What he doesn't get is, after 4 years at Sac St., where is he then? Versus a degree from West Point? It's a golden ticket. It's a tough decision for a 17 y/o, but it's basically committing to be a winner in life vs thinking that you just go to school and everything just works out afterwards. I wasn't that smart at that age, but you root for someone to be.
