All good things must come to an end…we finally had a losing week last week. To be honest it was my fault as I just didn’t put in the time I normally do. Had a good trip to Tuscaloosa and now it’s time to get back to our winning ways. On to this week’s picks.

SEC PICKS
ARKANSAS -7 vs TULSA (NO PLAY)– crazy stat of the game…neither of these teams has beaten an FBS team this year. Tulsa gave Houston a scare for 3 quarter and had USF on the ropes as well. They will need to control the game on the ground if they want to win here. On top of that they have to limit their turnovers which have just killed them this year. This Hog team is pretty banged up but in the end I think they find a way to get it done at home. ARKANSAS 31 TULSA 23
AUBURN -4 @ MISSISSIPPI (2 UNITS) – I was worried about this Auburn team last week and they proved me right. I just can’t trust their offense. Stidham did finally get some things going through the air and this Ole Miss secondary is going to give up some yards. Problem for Auburn is I think Ta’amu and company can put up some points as well. If this game gets to a shootout it’s sad to say but I trust Mississippi more. MISSISSIPPI 38 AUBURN 34
ALABAMA -29 @ TENNESSEE (NO PLAY)– well where did that game from UT come from? Even though Tennessee was able to move the ball on Auburn…they will find it much more difficult this week against this Bama front. Bama’s offense will get theirs as well no matter who is at quarterback. I really think Bama covers this number but since it’s on the road I will stay away from playing this one. ALABAMA 45 TENNESSEE 10
LSU -6.5 @ MISSISSIPPI STATE (1 UNIT UNDER 44) – Huge win for LSU after the Florida loss and get back home after a tough 2 game road stretch. On top of that Mississippi State has had a week off to get ready for this game. The receipe for Mississippi State has been simple…rush it well…win…don’t and it will be a loss…that will be a tough task against LSU. I expect a low scoring defensive battle and think this line is about right. LSU 23 MISSISSIPPI STATE 16
KENTUCKY -11 @ VANDERBILT (2 UNITS/2 UNITS UNDER 48)– It’s a pretty easy formula to beat Kentucky…stop the run…easier said than done. Also stopping the run has been a problem for Vandy, having given up 200+ yards on the ground 4 times already this year. I think UK will slowly take over this game in the second half and come away with a nice road win. KENTUCKY 28 VANDERBILT 13
MIZZOU -9.5 vs MEMPHIS (2 UNITS) – at this point in the year I’m not sure why anyone would try to run the ball on Mizzou. The secondary has been a huge issue all year long and I don’t see that ending anytime soon. However this isn’t the same Memphis team that slings it all over the yard like in years past. They have one of the top running backs in the country in Darrell Henderson. For Mizzou it’s pretty easy…STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER…turnovers have been costly in the 3 game losing streak. Mizzou has turned it over 7 times in the past 3 games and it cost them the UGA/SC games and it handed Bama points as well. I think Lock and this team will bounce back this week. Memphis will get their yards and points as well but they will limit Henderson enough to get the win. MIZZOU 41 MEMPHIS 27

OKLAHOMA -7.5 @ TCU (3 UNITS) – The offense has been lights out…the defense not so much for the Sooners. Stoops is gone now and we will see what the defense looks like this week. My guess is better but that might have more to do with TCU than anything else. Murray will be the difference and have a big day. OKLAHOMA 34 TCU 17
TEMPLE -3.5 vs CINCINNATI (2 UNITS) – Temple’s defense has been pretty good all year long…Cincy is undefeated but this will be really their first big test since knocking off UCLA to start the year. TEMPLE 28 CINCINNATI 17
IOWA -9 vs MARYALND (3 UNITS) – hard to go against this Hawkeye team right now…their only loss was a last second home loss to Wisky or they would be sitting inside the top 10 right now. Stanley has been on fire…think that continues this week. IOWA 35 MARYLAND 17
WASHINGTON STATE/OREGON OVER 66.5 (2 UNITS) – I expect their to be lots of points in this one. Gameday is finally going to Pullman after all these years. I fully expect this to be a wild Pac 12 shootout that I think Wazzu ends up winning. WASHINGTON STATE 41 OREGON 35
