Lock hasn't shown himself to be a "gamer." He's making no effort to stretch a play to make something happen. Standing stationary and waiting for receivers to get free & expecting your O-line to hold the best d-line in college football for 6 seconds isn't stretching a play. If he fumbled trying to leg out a first down, it would be more difficult to find fault. His fumbles are always behind the line of scrimmage. Alabama's O-line didn't give its QB the time Lock expected from his own. Their QB took off on a bum knee to get first downs for his team.
So to disagree with TJ's assessment, Lock's issues aren't just bad decisions. It appears to be a little lack of will to take this team on his back.
